MoniQue whose name is Kimberly “Monique” Bester born October 12. She resides on the west side of Chicago, Illinois. MoniQue is a Contemporary R&B singer. Who brings a peaceful, soulful yet sexy edge to her music. With her roots from singing in church from the age of 6 until adulthood she has always had a feel for music and harmonies of genres like gospel, Rnb soul, pop, blues and country as well. She’s inspired by artists like Whitney Houston, Anita Baker, Brandy, Aaliyah, Beyonce Mary Mary, CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams, Leandria and Tamela Mann. 

MoniQue started her singing career early at the age of 13. Even though she took a break she is now Back and Better. MoniQue has performed in many talents shows around the Chicago land area since the age of 11 years old. She has opened for Celebrities and local artists from Chicago (neighborhood showcases and talent shows); winning almost every single one she performed around Chicagoland she also performed for a few Chicago Festivals. 

MoniQue has a breathy, angelic, yet calming voice that brings people together through her singing. This Gifted young Lady has a Debut single out called “Sound of Love” and latest single "Buses ft. Ogang Doc and Guest starring D. Brown aka Uncle Hank. MoniQue style of music complements the R&B World with her sexy and edgy, yet welcoming vibe. Listeners are saying her voice is “A breath of Fresh Air.” “She has a GIFT.
